Editors
Heather Van Fleet (content editor) is stay-at-home-mom turned book boyfriend connoisseur. She’s the wife of her high school sweetheart and the mother of three amazing little girls. In her spare time, she can be found with her head buried in her Kindle, guzzling down copious amounts of coffee.
Heather has been in the publishing industry for over five years, and she currently works for BookFish Books as a content editor. She’s represented by Stacey Donaghy of Donaghy Literary, and her Embattled Hearts Series releases with Sourcebooks in late 2016.
Heather is interested in YA and NA books, particularly sports romance, contemporary romance, and sci-fi.
Ellie Sipila (line and copy editor) attended Ryerson University for copy, stylistic, and substantive editing and has earned a specialization in editing books intended for young readers (picture books--young adult). She is a member of the Editors' Association of Canada and the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators. She has edited the work of scholarly writers, fiction novelists, short story writers, nonfiction essayists, and bloggers. In addition, Ellie dabbles in book design and cover art. She is a mother, a wife, and a mega book and music nerd. When she is not reading or writing, she can usually be found playing her cello or sleeping (likely dreaming about reading, writing, or playing her cello).
Ellie is interested in MG and YA spooky, dark novels. She prefers to read about things that go bump in the night.
Erin Rhew (marketing director, associate editor) is the author of The Fulfilment Series. She is also an editor and fitness trainer.
Since she picked up Morris the Moose Goes to School at age four, Erin has been infatuated with the written word. She went on to work as a grammar and writing tutor in college, and is still teased by her family and friends for being a member of the "Grammar Police." In her free time, Erin enjoys acting, running, kickboxing, spending time on social media, and, of course, reading and writing. Her favorite place to be is at home with her family and easygoing tabby cat.
Erin has eclectic tastes and would be interested in seeing all YA and NA novels related to mythology, sci-fi, fantasy, unique dystopian, flawed utopian, and historical fiction.
